Lance Kennedy is a seasoned criminal defense attorney who formerly served as a federal and Texas state prosecutor. He currently represents clients across Texas, bringing his extensive legal expertise to the forefront. Lance also serves as a Major in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG).
He holds degrees from prestigious institutions, including Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law, Harvard University, and the University of Texas at Austin. A proud seventh-generation Texan, Lance is deeply committed to defending the rights of Texans facing criminal charges.
Licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and all courts in Texas and Utah, Lance brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his clients. He is an active member of the Texas Bar College and a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. Additionally, Lance serves on the board of directors for the State Bar of Texas' Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Committee.
Lance resides in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Ciara Kennedy, an entertainment attorney, and their three children.
