Jennifer Bukowsky has been an attorney since 2006 and founded the Bukowsky Law Firm in 2010. The firm handles criminal cases at every stage, collateral matters arising from criminal matters, and Constitutional law litigation.  Jennifer has handled over 1400 cases ranging in seriousness from speeding to first degree murder. Bukowsky has had many jury trials, one of which resulted in the only "not guilty" verdict on a Boone County murder case in the last 50 years. Jennifer and her growing team have handled criminal cases at nearly every stage from pre-arrest to habeas corpus to expungement in municipal, state, federal, and appellate courts.Jennifer received the David J. Dixon Appellate Advocacy Award from the Missouri Bar in 2015.  Jennifer was honored to be chosen as the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law's "Distinguished Recent Graduate" in 2015. Jennifer graduated with the highest honors from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 2006 and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. During law school, Jennifer was on the Missouri Law Review (two articles published), she won 1st place in the Mock Trial competition, "Top 10 Oralist" in the Moot Court competition, the Wallace Walter Prize for being #1 in the class after first year, and eight awards for achieving the highest grade in specific courses. She worked as a "summer associate" for Armstrong Teasdale in 2004 and 2005. She completed the "Child Protection" clinic, acting as a Rule 13 certified attorney representing the Missouri Department of Social Service's Children's Division in a termination of parental rights case. She also completed the "Legislative Practicum" during which she worked part time for Senator Jason Crowell in the Missouri Senate throughout the 2006 legislative session.
