Michael C. Rosenblat graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana, and The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Rosenblat enlisted in the United States Army (1987 – 1993) and, in 1994 became an Assistant Attorney General with the Illinois Attorney General's Office in Chicago, having served as Deputy Chief Criminal Prosecution, Deputy Chief Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (lead prosecutor), and Deputy Chief Special Litigation.

Michael C. Rosenblat has been sought out as a speaker and an author. He has made presentations to colleagues as well as co-authored a guidebook for attorneys practicing False Claims Act litigation.

Mr. Rosenblat has published "Prosecuting a Claim Under the Illinois Whistleblower Reward and Protection Act", (Co-Author), Employment Termination, IICLE, 2013, and was a speaker at: Search and Seizure under the 4th Amendment; The Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Unit, Prosecuting Health Care Fraud, Small Hospital Compliance Seminar; Heat on Government Sponsored Health Care Plans - False Claims Act Litigation, MCO Roundtable, HRH (Willis); "Search & Seizure Updates", Solo and Small Firm Committee, Chicago Bar Association; "False Claims and Class Actions", Chicago Bar Association, Committee of Class Actions; "Filing a False Claims Case in the Northern District of Illinois", Chicago Bar Association, Committee on Federal Civil Procedure; and Health Care Compliance Plans: Spanning the Continuum, Illinois Hospital and Health Systems Association.  He has also appeared on:  WLS Radio Rohm and Roeper Show; Fox News; CNN – Anderson Cooper 360; WGN Morning News; and The Wall Street Journal.
